What’s a fair price for a ticket surcharge?

I came across an interesting graphical analysis published in Rolling Stone about ticket service fees from Ticketmaster and where the fees go.  The optics of these ticket fees are way out of whack – when you start calling something a “ticket fee” and it approaches 50-80% of the ticket...

During the Jonas Brothers recent stop in Chicago, Eventric stopped by the Allstate Arena to visit with Super Master Tour users Sean “Casper” Johnson, Matt Petroff, and Janet Taylor.  The Jonas Brothers Crew and Management take full advantage of Master Tour Database and MTDTicketing to run their tour and ticketing needs.  Such advanced users in fact, Casper is contemplating a weekly “webinar” to show off advanced MTD techniques.  Be on the look out for his “Don’t Sync and Drink” weekly radio show…

The dev team is pressing onward for another Friday beta release of Master Tour.  (In case you didn’t notice, we update every Friday evening.)   Big thanks goes out again to our beta group.  Though it’s still in beta, a few of our brave testers have already hit the road with Master Tour as their primary tour planning software.

This week the printing module is at the top of our priority list.  We know from user feedback that this module is the one that’s holding some of you back from fully switching.  The good news is that Master Tour has a totally re-designed printing engine that makes it easy for us to design reports.  Our focus has been on the underlying printing engine, but starting this week we’re filling up the app with all the dailies, tour book layouts, calendars and such that you are used to seeing.

If you have a report that you’d really like to see, don’t hesitate to conact us.

Live from the Rock Werchter Festival in Belgium

Ian takes a moment to phone home just before Dave Matthews Band hits the stage at the Rock Werchte Festival in Belgium.  It’s exciting to see a shot from the trenches with a crowd of 80,000 in anticipation.  This is a great reminder of why we’re working so hard and doing what we do.  Not to mention, it’s making me thirsty for some Belgian ale!
